Easel Stories Art Gallery is proud to present Beyond Serene Horizons, a coffee table book documenting the artistic journey of Bikash Poddar, one of India’s most celebrated master artists. The official launch will take place on February 18, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Kolkata. The accompanying exhibition will run from February 18 to 23, 2025, between 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily.

This book is the culmination of a meaningful collaboration between Bikash Poddar, Easel Stories, and Dr. Satarupa Bhattacharya, chronicling decades of creative exploration and introspection. Beyond Serene Horizons offers readers a visual and narrative journey through Poddar’s life, tracing his formative years, creative philosophy, and artistic evolution. With vivid reproductions of his iconic works, personal anecdotes, and deep reflections, the book provides unique insight into Poddar’s artistic connection to nature and culture.

“This book represents the culmination of not just my artistic journey but my life experiences,” said Bikash Poddar. “It is a deeply personal work, and I am grateful to Easel Stories, Dr. Satarupa Bhattacharya, and everyone who contributed to making this publication meaningful and memorable.”
Dr. Satarupa Bhattacharya, who worked closely with Poddar during the creation of the book, remarked:
