Parampara, led by director Rajdeep Banerjee, presented Samarpan—a celebration of classical dance and devotion. The event began with a workshop by renowned Bharatanatyam guru Shri Kaliswaran Pillai (Mumbai), supported vocally by Akash Mukherjee.
The evening featured powerful solo performances by Bharatanatyam dancer Bidisha Banerjee and Kathak artist Shamila Bhattacharya. Group choreographies by Rittick Bhattacharya, Mousumi Sil, Moumita Gupta, Kaberi Dey, Hritwashree Koley, Subhra Mallik, Dhiman Roy, and Priya Bhattacharya showcased diverse talent, enriched by Akash Mukherjee’s soulful vocal support.
Samarpan reflected Parampara’s continued commitment to nurturing India’s classical heritage.
