Pracheen Kala Kendra Presents 29th Quarterly Baithak under ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Series

Pracheen Kala Kendra, one of India’s premier institutions dedicated to the promotion of Indian classical arts, is set to organize its 29th Quarterly Baithak under the prestigious Legends of Tomorrow series. The program will take place on Friday, 12th September 2025, from 6:30 PM onwards at Triveni Kala Sangam, 205 Tansen Marg, Mandi House, New Delhi.

 

The evening will open with a Santoor recital by Sh. Divyansh Harshit Srivastava, an accomplished young artist known for his soulful renditions. He will be accompanied by Sh. Ujith Uday Kumar (Tabla) and Sh. Rishi Shankar Upadhyaya (Pakhawaj), promising a captivating blend of rhythm and melody.

 

The second segment of the Baithak will feature a Kuchipudi dance presentation by the students of eminent Guru Smt. Padma Kalyan from Sanchalana School of Dance, Hyderabad. Under her guidance, a talented group of disciples including Dr. Jyothi Sekhar, Smt. Rashmitha, Kum. Navya, Kum. Uma, Kum. Tanmayi, Kum. Lahiri, Kum. Janaki Sruthi, Kum. Tripura and others will showcase traditional and vibrant Kuchipudi compositions.

 

This unique evening of music and dance is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and reflects Pracheen Kala Kendra’s continued commitment to nurturing and showcasing the next generation of artists who carry forward India’s rich cultural heritage.
