J-K: PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti Reacts To Hazratbal Plaque Row, Says ‘FIR Should Be Lodged Against…’
A controversy erupted after the newly renovated shrine was inaugurated with a marble plaque bearing the Ashoka Emblem installed. Now, PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti said that polytheism can not be tolerated in the shrine of Prophet Mohammad and urged that an FIR should be lodged against Waqf members under the Blasphemy Act for hurting religious sentiments.
