Malashree, an institution committed to excellence in cultural pursuits, proudly announces the 8th edition of its annual Indian classical dance festival, Prerona, to be held on 25 July 2025 at Uttam Mancha, from 7 PM onwards.

This year's festival promises an evening of profound aesthetic experience, beginning with a special lecture demonstration on Natyashastra by eminent scholar Sri Piyal Bhattacharya from 6 PM to 7 PM.
Following the lecture, audiences will be treated to an array of classical dance performances by some of the country’s finest artists. The evening will showcase:
Odissi Dance by Dr. ArpitaVenkatesh and KumariVanditaVenkatesh
Kathak Dance by Sri Sourav Roy
Kuchipudi Dance by Smt. BobyChakraborty
Manipuri Dance by Anjika Dance troupe
The dance presentations are directed by Smt. Priti Patel, with the evening compered by SunitaChowdhurie.
The festival will be graced by distinguished guests of honour, including TapatiChowdhurie, Priti Patel, Piyal Bhattacharya, LailyBasu, Rina Jana, and Anita Mallick.
