A Celebration of India’s Integrity and Heritage through Dance. Punascha Nritya Kala Kendra is proud to present its much-anticipated annual production, Tarang 2025—a vibrant celebration of India’s unity, cultural richness, and timeless heritage through the expressive power of Indian classical dance.
Conceptualized and choreographed by acclaimed danseuse Nandita Banerjee, this year’s edition will take place on 5th June 2025 at Gyan Manch, Kolkata, beginning at 6:00 PM.

Concept & Choreography: Nandita Banerjee
The evening will feature a captivating ensemble of dancers performing pieces that embody the essence of national integration and cultural pride. Through graceful movements, evocative storytelling, and rich traditions, Tarang 2025 seeks to highlight the diverse yet unified spirit of India.
Following the main production, Punascha is delighted to present Chidanandabilasa at 7:00 PM, choreographed by Nandita Banerjee, with music by Pandit Debojyoti Bose and script by Swastik Banerjee. The lighting design is by Soumen Chakravarti, adding a dynamic visual dimension to the production.
The performance will also feature:
A solo Odissi recital by Subikash Mukherjee (Guest Performer) and Nandita Banerjee
A special Bharatanrityam presentation—a rare dance form blending Bharatanatyam with principles of Natyasastra, from the lineage of Padma Vibhushan Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam
Nandita Banerjee is a proud disciple of Rashmi Bandyopadhyay, a senior student of Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam.
