SumadhurHansadhwani Trust presents “Saints in Song” – An Evening of Bhakti Music
SumadhurHansadhwani Trust is delighted to announce a special concert titled “Saints in Song”, a soulful evening dedicated to the timeless compositions of revered spiritual icons presenting compositions of Saint Surdas, Sankeertanas of Saint Annamacharya and compositions of Swami Vivekananda. The event will take place on 13th September 2025 at 5:45 PM at Shri Satya Sai Auditorium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

The festival is envisioned as a musical tribute to:
Saint Annamacharya, the 15th-century saint and Carnatic composer devoted to Lord Venkateswara.
Saint Surdas, the legendary Braj poet celebrated for his devotional bhajans dedicated to Lord Krishna.
Swami Vivekananda, the visionary monk whose hymns and compositions will be presented in this festival.
The evening will feature acclaimed artists:
Vidushi Sumitra Guha (Padma Shri and SangeetNatakAkademi awardee), presenting her own compositions of Saint Surdas and Annamacharya in Hindustani style ( usually Carnatic musicians singing ). She is also the first Andhra woman to sing Hindustani classical as well as also the one to sing Annamacharyasankeertan in Hindustani style
Swami KripakaranandaMaharaj (Doctor, Vocalist, Monk, Ramakrishna Mission), presenting Swami Vivekananda’s compositions.
Pt. NishikantBarodekar, senior disciple of UstadZakir Hussain, performing a solo tabla recital.
They will be accompanied by a talented ensemble:
Shri Suman Chatterjee (Tabla)
Shri Sumit Mishra (Harmonium)
Shri Anurodh Jain (Percussion)
Shri Siddharth Raj Dalbehera (Flute)
The evening will be anchored and coordinated by Dr.NeepaChoudhary.
The event will be graced by Chief Guest Shri Kapil Mishra, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Government of Delhi.
