The cultural tapestry of Kolkata is set to be enriched with an exceptional evening of Indian classical music and dance as 'Swarmayee' presents “Swarayoginee': Innovator in Indian Music' on Sunday, 29th June, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at UttamManch, Kalighat.
The event is organised in honour of Padma VibhushanSwarayogineeDr.PrabhaAtre, one of the most revered figures in Indian classical music, celebrated for her unparalleled contribution as a vocalist, thinker, academician, author, composer, reformer, and guru who gave new vision to Indian music.
The evening will show case presentations featuring the compositions of Dr.PrabhaAtre
- A Hindustani classical vocal recital by VidushiAratiAnkalikar-Tikekar, a Central SangeetNatakAkademi awardee and National Film Award-winning playback singer. She will be accompanied by Pt. Samar Saha on the tabla and Smt. Rupashri Bhattacharya on the harmonium.
