UMANG 2025: A Celebration of Raaga and Rhythm
The Nrityanjali Traditional Kathak Institution (NTKI) warmly invites you to join us in celebrating our 15th Annual Festival, UMANG, “an evening of Indian Classical Raaga and Rhythm,” set for June 7, 2025, at the beloved Rabindra Sadan, Kolkata. We are deeply grateful to have Susanta Ghosh, our Founder and Artistic Director, curate this special event.
For the past 17 years, NTKI has poured its heart and soul into the education, promotion, and preservation of our rich cultural heritage. We truly understand the importance of keeping our traditions alive for future generations. This annual festival is not merely about performance; it represents a cherished opportunity to highlight the incredible talents within our institution and among our distinguished guest artists. It is a celebration that fosters community, bringing together some of the most gifted classical musicians and dancers to create unforgettable experiences for everyone involved.
We feel privileged to welcome a remarkable lineup of classical dance performers and musical collaborators to our stage. This includes the esteemed Guru Rajdeep Banerjee and his dedicated ensemble, the talented Sri Subrata Pandit and his group, and the beautiful Kathak duet performances by Sushree Madhuka Dutta and Sushree Arshia Rosaleen. We’re also thrilled to see the touching collaborations featuring Sushree Reshmi Mitra and Sushree Sritama Banerjee, accompanied by extraordinary musical artists like Chandrachur Bhattacharjee, Biswajit Pal, Jayanta Banerjee, Sanjay Biswas, Subhasish Mondal, Mithun Chakraborty, Jaydeep Sinha, Debashis Halder, and Rick Mukherjee.
Your unwavering support means the world to us, and we genuinely look forward to sharing this extraordinary celebration with you. Together, let’s create lasting memories and nurture our cultural legacy, ensuring it continues to flourish for many more years.
